Mario Orlando

Senior Animator
Industrial Light & Magic

Mario Orlando has been a professional animator since 2005 and is currently a senior animator at Industrial Light & Magic. He was previously at ILMxLab, a Lucasfilm immersive entertainment studio that creates interactive, virtual storytelling. He honed his animation skills at Animation Mentor and graduated in 2015. Mario is a huge Star Wars fan so it was a dream to work at the studio where it all began. A fun fact about Mario is that his father and brother have the same name he does, with different middle names. He currently teaches Animation Basics, Body Mechanics, Advanced Body Mechanics and Introduction to Acting from the Character Animation Course at Animation Mentor.
