This year we have 19 shots from students representing 13 different countries! How cool is that?? Congratulations to the AM community on a creative, productive year—we can’t wait to see what you animate in 2020!
Our 2019 student showcase features 19 shots from students representing 13 different countries. That’s quite a spread! And the content is as wide-ranging as its creators, with contrasting themes and emotions highlighting the complexity of our experiences on this wonderful planet.
This year what impressed us the most was the creative storytelling and unique acting choices our students captured. Each animator brought their individuality and experience to their character’s performance, creating a sense of believability, wonder, and joy in each piece. Our students ever-growing ability to bring a character to life and craft a compelling story has yet again elevated our annual showcase to another level.
Established in 2005 (we’ll be 15 next year!) Animation Mentor is the original, online animation school. We have more instructors from major studios than any other school and their dedicated mentorship gives our students the one-on-one time they need to prepare for a successful career in the Animation Industry.
We can’t stop (won’t stop) bragging about our fantastic students. Animation Mentor has an alumni community of over 5,000 students in over 105 countries, now working in world-class studios like Pixar, DreamWorks, Industrial Light & Magic, Blue Sky, Sony, and many more. We’re in constant awe of our talented tribe who go on to do amazing things—from starting their own studios to getting their name in the credits to winning awards to becoming mentors themselves.
