What is 3D Modeling?
3D modeling is the process of digitally sculpting characters, props, environments, and sets in a three-dimensional space. 3D modelers use digital software programs to design everything required for film, TV shows, commercials, and video games. Modeling techniques vary depending on what you are trying to create, but at Animation Mentor we focus on character modeling.
We offer two 3D character modeling courses created by Blizzard Senior Character Artist Hong Chan Lim. Hong teaches his 3D modeling workflow using modern software like Autodesk Maya and Pixologic’s ZBrush, and shows you how to design your own character from scratch.
