About Nicole Herr

Nicole Herr has been a professional animator since 1996. She has had an extensive career working on 50+ films, video games, and television projects as a character animator, previs/layout artist, and animation director. One of her first film jobs was helping to restore the original Fantasia animation that was then used in Fantasia 2000. Nicole was a senior previs character animator for The Lion King and Rampage, and the Best Visual Effects Oscar-winning film, The Jungle Book. Her credits also include previsualization work for The Guardians of the GalaxyThe Flash and the Supergirl series.

Nicole has been a mentor since 2007 and has taught most of the courses at Animation Mentor. She designed and teaches the Previsualization Basics for Animators course, in addition to Creature Animation: Locomotion and Body Mechanics.
