What Arslan’s Students are Saying
5/5 Because He is Phenomenal
Rated a 5/5 because he is phenomenal. The eCritiques show he genuinely cares by doing drawovers, explains his thinking, and can go up to 8+ minutes. I appreciate that he’s willing to do minor notes after the Q&A and all you have to do is respect his time by messaging him and posting early. I appreciate how Arslan does his best to go over each student in the Q&A and if time runs out he will provide an eCritique to compensate.
Huge Improvement in My Animation
I like his way of teaching, very straightforward, his notes are clear and very helpful. He is making the most out of the class and pushing everybody. In just 6 weeks I already see huge improvement in my animation. Without him encouraging us and giving us mid week notes it wouldn’t be possible. Really appreciate his work.
His Work is Very Inspiring
Arslan is a great mentor. My animation has improved the most since I’ve started this term with him. He is super detailed and concise with his critiques, he keeps me motivated to do better and is always available to help. His Q&A’s are always interesting and helpful, his work is very inspiring and he transmits the love for his job to all us students. Overall I think he is an amazing mentor.
An Incredible Teacher
It was such a pleasure working with Arslan. He’s an incredible teacher and his feedback and encouragement has helped me learn so much as an animator!
A Great Mentor to Have
Arslan is a great mentor to have, one of my friends recommended choosing him as a mentor and I’m really glad I did. His notes are always really clear and they’re very focused on helping the body mechanics feel more convincing. In his critiques, he tends to use sound effects as well to describe what he means by certain notes and these tend to be really helpful in making everything click into place. In Q&As his notes on other shots can easily apply to my own and it’s fun to see the BTS of the VFX.
Gained a Lot with Arslan
Arslan is a fantastic mentor who really pushes you with your work. I think I have worked my hardest this term as he likes to see your shot updates multiple times throughout the week. He has recorded supplementary videos for us and always takes the time to help outside of the Q&A. It has been a tough term but I feel I have definitely gained a lot with Arslan as my mentor.
Very Involved in His Class
Arslan is very involved in his class and is flexible with submissions deadlines if we are having any trouble. I really appreciate his approach to teaching as well and I hope he continues to teach the way he is doing it now.
Passionate and Professional
Arslan is very passionate and professional with animation. I appreciate how hard he pushes us to get better by giving the goals he would like to see me reach week by week. He also gives very direct & technical feedback that I can address to make my animation better.
