Ere Santos
Ere Santos has been a professional animator since 2017 and is an animation supervisor at Walt Disney Animation Studios. Ere has worked at prominent studios including Sony Pictures Imageworks, Pixar, MPC, and DNEG and has worked on films like Zootopia 2, Moana 2, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, and Hotel Transylvania: Transformania. In his spare time, Ere loves improv acting and his hidden talent is that he can solve a Rubik’s cube in under 40 seconds!

Ere’s a delight as a mentor, with a good handle on explaining concepts and elaborating on why he’s chosen to do something during a demo. His eCritiques are focused and cut to the quick in a way that’s great for finding the key pain points in a shot.

He is overall a great mentor. Has a 1-on-1 with his students to have a mid-semester check up and help us know where we are, how we are doing and more. His crits are super clear and helpful too

I rated my mentor high because he is a tough mentor but he pushes us to be better animators. I don’t think I’d learn as much without the push.
