What Michael’s Students are Saying
Tough but in a Good Way
Michael Amos is a great mentor! He does great Q&As and he always takes time to look at shots if you need help at the end of the lecture. He has one day a week when he checks his mail and will answer questions mid-week which is SO helpful. He is tough but in a good way. Pushing us to go beyond and get better. And always with a big smile and so inspiring. I recommend him a lot.
Very Professional and a Really Good Motivator
My mentor Michael Amos! Very professional and a really good motivator. After every Q&A, I always got this super motivation to keep pushing and he made the whole learning experience really fun.
Excited Every Moment of His Class
Mr. Amos taught me how much I should be more detail oriented to the animation in this competitive industry. His insights opened my eyes to see why certain mechanics did and did not work. Furthermore. I truly appreciate his generous tips and advice during Q&As. I was excited every moment of his class.
Helpful and Clear with His Lessons and Critiques
Mentor Michael is great, very helpful and clear with his lessons and critiques. There was lots of great advice on how to practice and study body mechanics from 2d, 3d and live action films. He opened up my eyes and made me have a better understanding on how to fully utilize the straight ahead animation and it was really insightful! His advice has also motivated me throughout the semester. Glad to have him as a mentor and would highly recommend him to others! 🙂
Very Informative and Helpful!
Mike is an amazing Mentor! He always takes time to listen deeply to any of our questions and gives a long thorough answer. His critiques are very informative and helpful! I very rarely go away with questions about what he said is good and needs improvement. Would highly recommend Mike to anyone who has the chance to have him as a mentor.
I’ve Learned So Much
Mike is an amazing mentor. His critiques are very helpful and detailed. I have learned so much from the tons of details of why something needs attention and how to fix the issue. The Q&As are filled with valuable information related to our assignments as well as in the industry.
Made Everything as Easy as Possible
Mike’s been an absolutely fantastic mentor, and his wealth of knowledge is on display during Q&As, eCritiques, and whenever anyone reaches out to him via email. AN04 was certainly a wake-up call in the very beginning with all the new facial controls, but he’s made everything as easy as possible to dissect and tackle one at a time. I’d highly recommend him as a mentor to anyone!
Super Detailed and Awesome Critiques
Michael has been such an amazing mentor, His critiques are always super detailed and awesome. He also gives really great tips and ideas on how to improve my shot during his critiques! The Q&As are also really fun and informative and I always look forward to attending his class every Tuesday because I always feel motivated and inspired by the end of them! I’m really grateful that he is my mentor!
