Nicolás Burmester

Nicolás Burmester began his professional career as a character animator in 2015. Over the years, he has gained experience in a wide range of areas, including roto animation, advertising, video games, short films, and VFX. He is now focused on feature film animation and currently works as a Character Animator at Sony Pictures Imageworks.

Nicolás graduated from Animation Mentor in 2018, completing the entire Character Animation program. As a former student of the school, he understands what students are going through and is passionate about helping them achieve their dreams, just as the school helped him achieve his own. Originally from Chile, Nicolás moved to Canada to pursue his career in the film industry and is eager to share his knowledge and experience to help his students grow and succeed.
