Claudio has been an amazing mentor. We always have fun on his Q&A’s, he’s good at explaining things (implementing drawings, props, and other materials). His feedback is clear and thorough. He is very open and encouraging and shares his love and excitement for animation, while also taking it seriously and helping us be as professional as possible. I’m glad I was in his class.

Claudio is an amazing mentor, I wasn’t very sure about starting from the beginning because I had some experience in animation, but Claudio gave me very good feedback, and made me realize that my foundations weren’t as solid as I thought. Also, our Q&As are very chill, he always starts with some music until we are all prepared, then we may watch and analyze a short film and then talk about our doubts about this week’s assignment or other animation related stuff.

All mentors are knowledgeable of their craft. But Claudio creates an environment where all are welcome to speak, even those who are a little shy at times. He makes sure to explain and answer all questions even if at times it’ll run the class a little late. He understands that some concepts are harder to grasp than others and takes time to explain it in both the class sessions and the mentor critiques of your work.

Claudio is great, he is so nice and cares about every student, cares about where you’re at, and helps you based on your problem. His critique is clear, he uses drawing to teach you and make you understand animation better, and today he makes a squirrel by himself which is really cute to show me how the tail goes, the drag and overlap,
