JP Welsh
JP Welsh has been a professional animator since 2011 and is currently a lead animator at Sony Picture Imageworks. He began his career working on video games, tv shows, short films and VFX. His first contribution to a feature film was on Captain Underpants. Since then, he’s worked on hits including Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse, The Mitchells vs The Machines and Hotel Transylvania 3. He graduated from Animation Mentor in 2012.
JP currently mentors students in Animation Basics, the first Core Character Animation Course at Animation Mentor.
