What Mike’s Students are Saying
A Privilege to learn from Him
Mike is such a humble superstar. He is a superhero among mere mortals, but still treats us and our stupid questions with dignity and respect. I couldn’t look up to him more. He has even shared with us about his personal experience building a career. It has been the highlight of my Animation Mentor experience to have Mike share with us at our Live QA and to have his critiques on my work every week. It has been such a privilege to learn from him.
Always Active and Prepared
Mike is always active, prepared for lecture, and has a good grip on his subject. He is never bothered by how much time passes by & always gives importance to all the questions no matter how many times I ask. He always takes time to give detailed feedback on my assignment. He always shares his personal experiences from his professional life to explain things and this is really great for our professional growth and knowledge. English is not my first language but he was always very clear in his words.
Great Job in Showing and Drawing in His Critiques
In Mike’s critiques he does a great job showing and drawing out the things I can do to push my animations further. He did an exceptionally great job when I was struggling with the tailor assignment. His Q&As are also great. Along with demonstrating the assignments, he also answers any questions we have about the industry and is willing to stay over a little to make sure he’s answered everyone’s questions.
