What Zachary’s Students are Saying
I’d Recommend Zachary
I would say, In the beginning I didn’t know if the entire class was expected to do above average work or do work as a student and pass, however, something clicked to me and it all made sense of what Zachary was teaching and expecting of myself and the class. I’d recommend Zachary to friends who want to learn animation.
Super Easy to Chat With and Approach
Zachary is a great mentor, and provides midway critique which is extremely helpful. Super knowledgeable and passionate about animation and learning and gives us a ton of resources. Loved class demos I picked up a lot from watching him work through a shot. Super easy to chat with and approach.
I've Grown Immensely Under Zach's Mentorship
I’ve grown immensely under Zach’s mentorship. I learned something new and invaluable with every single one of his classes. Many of the concepts and techniques he taught me were major drivers in my growth. He was patient and knew where I was lacking, and he took the time to really dive into the methods that would really help me improve my workflow and animation. Although I have a long way to go, the progress I’ve seen is really due to him. If I could take his class again, I’d do it in a heartbeat.
Very Generous With His Time
Very clear comments during critique. Very generous with his time. Q&A contents are very relevant and clear. Very helpful.
Explanations are Easy to Understand
He [Zachary] is quick to respond to posted work. His critiques are helpful and informative. His explanations are easy to understand and put the information he’s given me to use.
One of the Best Mentors I’ve Had
Zach did a great job helping me out doing extra critiques through the week. I’ve improved tremendously without a doubt. He helped me understand workflow, incorporating the principles and above all he would always explain to me what his approach would be and what to do and not. I think he’s one of the best mentors I’ve had thus far. That being said I’d probably take him again if he was in the higher classes.
His Critiques are Full of Good Content
I really really like Zachary as a mentor, he is super friendly and helps a lot with the course and Q&A. Also his critiques are full of good content too!
Very Thorough and Makes Sure I Understand
I liked getting feedback that is directed towards the things I need to work on and not just a repeat of the same syllabus I’ve looked at before. He’s very thorough and makes sure I understand things before moving on to something new, no matter how many times he has to explain it.
